“…had me laughing at some of the situations James found himself in even while cheering for him to just hold on a little longer.”
“…blend of humor and heart tugging moments.”
“Middle school is rough! But there’s so much hope in this book…”
“It was captivating.”
“A must read!”
“The story is compelling and begs for a sequel.”

The lnk took me to amazing.com at first, but then redirected m3 to Amazon.uk. I was then able to download it ok Many thanks. Will you do a bilingual version?

That’s good to know, thank you. I’m figuring out how things like that work as we go. I’m glad to hear it let you download it without an issue. Versions in other languages are a possibility, but we have to see how the English one does first! Hope you enjoy the book, Janice!

HI Emily-
I finished your book the other day – downloaded it free – it was great! As a member care person I am recommending it highly! Really good potential discussion starters for families of kids in transition whether it be home to their passport countries or moving overseas. (I will try and write a review on Amazon when I get a chance. )
PS – Love your blogs. Whenever I’m not feeling it for life here – I just pull up some of your old posts and enjoy a good belly laugh! Such good medicine for my soul! (2 of my favorites are about Hair & China not getting along and Taobao making your eyes bleed!) Thanks for making us laugh!

Thank you so much, Julie! I’m really glad you enjoyed the book and I hope the families you help will find it to be a good resource with their kids. Fiction books and movies are often some of the best discussion starters for kids. I would LOVE for you to post a review if you can. Thank you! And of course, I’m delighted to know my crazy posts can give you a good laugh on bad China days. Those are two of my personal favorite posts, too! 🙂
